What We Do

Fire Extinguishers

Per NFPA 10 (National Fire Protection Association) “Fire extinguishers are required to be provided for the protection of both the building structure and the hazard occupancy hazards within.” Brush Fire & Security, Inc. can provide a site survey to evaluate the hazards associated with your business. Once completed we can provide, install and service the extinguisher (s) for the lifespan of the unit.

Fire Extinguisher Maintenance – Annually is Crucial to ensuring operability

Exit and Emergency Lights

Per NFPA 101 (Nation Fire Protection Association) “Access to exits shall be marked with readily visible and approved signs.” Brush Fire & Security, Inc. Can provide the “Quick Check,” or “Load Test,” or an even a “Full 90-minute Discharge Test,” as required by local and state fire codes. Each device tested will be labeled for easy identification by Fire Department Personnel.

Fire Sprinkler Systems

Per NFPA 25 (National Fire Protection Association) “Property owners or their representative shall ensure system operation and that all valves are positioned properly as well as sealed, locked, or electrically supervised.” Brush Fire & Security, Inc. will perform inspection and testing as required on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually as needed. We will provide a detailed inspection report to city, state and insurance officials as required.

Backflow Prevention

A Backflow Assemble test must be completed yearly, but what is it? What does it do?

Put simply if a connection is made between a “potable” or drinkable supply and a “non Potable” or non-drinkable supply a Backflow Prevention assemble must be installed to prevent cross contamination.

Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems / Hood Systems

Per NFPA 17, 17a and 96 (National Fire Protection Association) “A placard is required near each fire extinguisher indicating the fire protection system is to be activated prior to using the extinguisher.” Brush Fire & Security, Inc. is manufacturer certified to perform inspection, testing and repair on Amerex KP, Ansul, Badger, Buckeye, PyroChem and RangeGuard fire suppression systems.
